Local Business Development Executive – Commercial Vehicle Sales

 

Position: Full Time, Permanent Position        

Are you a natural people person with a talent for sales? Do you love the buzz of winning new business and building lasting relationships? At Monaghan Brothers, we’re looking for an ambitious Local Business Development Executive to join our team and drive commercial vehicle sales in the local area.

This is more than just a sales job – it’s about being out in the community, meeting business owners, and helping them find the right vehicles to keep their companies moving forward.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Generate new business opportunities with local businesses.
  • Building strong relationships and becoming their go-to expert for commercial vehicles.
  • Promoting our full range of vans, pickups, and finance packages.
  • Spotting opportunities, following up leads, and turning conversations into long-term partnerships.
  • Managing the full sales process – from first meeting to handing over the keys.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets – as agreed with management.
  • Complete other duties at the discretion of management.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone with a proven track record in sales, business development, or account management.
  • A confident communicator who enjoys meeting new people.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to succeed.
  • Organised, professional, and able to deliver a great customer experience.
  • A full UK driving licence - essential.
  • Experience in the automotive or commercial vehicle sector is a bonus – but not essential.
